Betonipumppaus Laatikainen Oy started its operations in 1997, initially with a traditional man and machine assembly. After a couple of years of operation, we acquired more equipment and hired more employees. Along the way, the amount of pumping equipment, the versatility, and the number of staff has grown to its current level as demand has increased.
In early 2010, we acquired the business of a concrete flooring company in the industry, which allows us to serve our customers more comprehensively. Around the same time, we also started to invest more in our concrete transport equipment, which we are also using to provide a better level of service. In 2020, we split the company into four separate companies to streamline operations. In 2022, the parent company BPL Group Ltd was established above them to manage the four sister companies. In 2022, we acquired the business of Jyväskylän Betonipumppaus Oy, which had long operated in Central Finland. This transaction will enable us to offer our services more competitively to a much wider sector.
For several years now, we have been the first in Finland to invest more in environmentally friendly electric pumping equipment. This allows our customers to participate in environmentally friendly activities if they wish to. In the future, we intend to grow the company in a prudent manner and line with the needs of our customers.
